Deputy Speaker - The Nigerian Youth Parliament
Chisom Jane Ikechukwu, ESQ., is an exceptional and dynamic young professional known for her outstanding leadership. She currently serves as the Deputy Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing youth- focused policies on issues like gender equity, transformative education, and skill acquisition.
Chisom is also set to represent youth in Commonwealth countries, having been appointed to serve on a prestigious committee within the office of the vice chair Commonwealth.
A qualified lawyer, Chisom holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Lead City University Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2024 after completing her studies at the Nigerian Law School in Lagos. She furthered her legal expertise by studying Intellectual Property Law at the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to her legal career, Chisom is the founder of Black Jet Legal Services, a law firm that specializes in corporate services, property rights, and intellectual property law.
She also owns CJ Realty, a real estate company that has successfully closed deals in high-profile areas of Abuja.
Notable Achievements:
1. Led a project focused on children living with autism in Ghana.
2. Contributed to initiatives on transformative education in Nigeria.
3. Participated in consultative meetings on ECOWAS Youth Parliament initiative. 4. Led efforts to include youth in the 2025 Climate Change Summit initiative.
